Delete your FamSign account

FamSign is published by Cool2U Ltd. Sign-in to FamSign is optional — if you have never signed in, no account exists and there is nothing to delete. If you have signed in with an email address, you can delete your account and the data associated with it at any time using either of the methods below.
Delete your account in the app (instant)
- Open FamSign and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Your account and email are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Delete your account by email
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email instead:
- From the email address associated with your FamSign account, send an email to [email protected].
- Use the subject line "Delete my FamSign account".
- We will reply to confirm the request and complete the deletion within 14 days.
What we delete
- Your email address as stored by our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Your Supabase user record and all associated authentication metadata (session tokens, sign-in timestamps, etc.).
- Your link to RevenueCat (our subscription provider). After deletion, this device returns to an anonymous identity.
What we may retain
- Transaction records: RevenueCat retains anonymised purchase and entitlement history under its own retention policy for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. These records are decoupled from your deleted email and no longer identify you.
- Payment receipts: Apple App Store and Google Play retain payment receipt information independently of FamSign. Please consult Apple's and Google's respective policies for the data they hold.
- Support correspondence: Any emails you send us are retained for a reasonable period to allow us to respond to and audit support requests. You can request deletion of support correspondence at the same time.
Local data on your device
Some FamSign data lives only on your device and is never sent to our servers. This includes your phrase history and any cached sign videos. You can clear these at any time without contacting us:
- Use the "Clear History" button inside the app.
- Clear app data via your device's system settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data.
